Sierra Tejeda and Almijara Nature Park
Just 25km far from our camping it is located this nature park where may be emphasized its rugged and craggy landscape and its highest peak, “la Maroma”, with 2,066 meters.
The nature park, due to its orography and diversity, make possible the practice of many activities such as gorge walking (Verde River), hiking, mountaineering, bike tours and the flora and fauna observation, among others.
Maro Cliffs and Cerro Gordo Nature Park
Spectacular cliffs with beaches hidden in remote coves, such as the coves of Cantarrijan and Calaiza, provide this place with an extraordinary view.
Their rocky seabed, posidonia oceanica meadows and caves where corals, sponges and a wide range of fishes like the moonfish or damsel fish, turn this place into a paradise for snorkelling and scuba diving lovers.
